Big Fog is a print studio based in the foggy mountains of West Virginia. Born of the collaboration between illustrator Valerie Burgess and designer Brian Dove, Big Fog produces a variety of prints, calendars, spiral-bound books, and cards peppered with a love of grainy textures and punchy colors. Often inspired by the wild woods where they live, Valerie’s illustrative work includes mountain rich landscapes and lush botanical scenes. Brian’s designs are heavily influenced by his graphical eye and love of typography. With a shared interest in practical yet whimsical goods, the two make everyday items from yearly calendars to pocket sized notebooks featuring a perfect melding of their two styles.
